ABOUT RACHEL

Rachel is a writer, researcher and content director currently based in the UK.

Brought up in the countryside in Lancashire, she developed a passion for nature from a young age.

A keen trail runner, hiker and wild swimmer, it was a love for the outdoors that drew her to travel-related and international projects – she has resided and worked in Ukraine and was based in Switzerland for 3 years from 2017. While here she worked for The Travel Corporation and developed the written content for two of its luxury brands. She also acted as an art director on global photo and video shoots.

Rachel holds a BA in English Literature and an MA in Education, Gender and International Development. This has supported her creative for global charities and organisations including UNICEF UK, Climate-U, COP26, Royal Marsden Cancer Charity, St-Martin-in-the-Field, The School of Sexuality Education, FLOWS and Business Alliance Against Malaria.

In her spare time she works on creative writing, travel and climate related photography and videography projects. Her style with visual content takes a documentary/cinematic approach in order to capture moments that depict reality.
